Arura 2014 - Update

Dear all,
Arura 2014 has officially begun! Nearly 200 young people and over 180 volunteers have descended upon Bushmills for the week and are already settled into their temporary home!
Last night we joined together for our first evening celebration with a time of praise and a message from Al Bennett, our mainstage speaker. The young people all had an opportunity to meet their group leaders and area speakers, as well as try to solve a superhero murder mystery!
We are so blessed to have such a large team of enthusiastic leaders, eager to get to know the young people and to make sure they have a great time when at camp.
We would ask that you could pray for the following:
- our area speakers: Pip Kerr, Greg Neville, Glenn Johnston, and Stevie Walls. Pray that God will speak boldly through these guys to communicate God's truth to the young people.
- pray for ongoing protection and safety over the camp. We've already had a couple of minor injuries (over enthusiastic footballers!) and due to the heat, dehydration and sunburn are potential problems.
- give thanks for the message that was shared last night by Al Bennett, and pray that the Holy Spirit will convict those who don't yet know Christ of their need to be saved.
Thank you for your ongoing support of Arura 2014.
Dave Wilson
Camp Director

P.S. I couldn't resist a wee Arura 2014 selfie!
